not sure that i agree that rights, in general, are a human construct. i mean, okay...in the sense that we've named them, maybe, but i believe that there are some universal 'rights' that are observed & exercised outwith the human species.
@kathimmel It would be nicer certainly if the folks who regulate and license businesses did much more to ensure those businesses avoid damaging ecosystems. Regulatory and government capture is a significantly larger problem than it seems.
