There are still too many homes that choose Monopoly as the default family board game. Because they don't know better.
Which game would you advise them to play? As a first introduction to 'proper' board games with a positive experience and balanced dynamic?
@ives @verbeeld I play both chess and Go, but my proficiency is higher in chess. Although Go has simpler rules, I find it more intricate due to the absence of clear overarching principles. However, I acknowledge that my perception might be influenced by my limited understanding of Go ;) Happy to play online as well... #chess #go
@fred @verbeeld I've retired from #Go. Not enough time to maintain or improve my (low) level anymore. But I always had good luck finding opponents (or playing tournaments) on https://online-go.com
