I doubt many people in the UK realise this ... but it is pretty incredible that it's been allowed to continue. The herd needs to get their boots on.
Poor old Charles, owner of an estate about the same land surface as India and who pays ZERO inheritance tax ... is obliged to acquire properties, after death, if there is no Will and Testament, and no next-of-kin. GOSH!!! WHAT A SURPRISE!!!
@gsymon I think you are right that not many people are aware of it. It is one of the main reasons I have a Will.
