At some point in early 2019, during first tRumpo regime shitstorm, I was coming back from a mil school in Arizona.
I drove. Because my unit wanted to fly me there, but didn't assign funds for a rental. And I wanted to wheel the canyons and whatnot around the base. Check.
Coming back from the school, after couple months, I am in a late 90s Jeep, filled with obviously mil gear and some civ luggage bags, with a fresh-from-day-before military haircut.

He spoke to me, and the car was invaded by a mix of bad breath and cheap booze.
My eyes were locked onto his right hand.
He asked whether I was a US citizen. I produced my military ID, indicating I was an officer in the US Army.
Now, you CAN be a soldier on a "green card" (resident). But officers need security clearances, which means CITIZENSHIP.
In my case, because of what I did and do, I have a rather high clearance. Higher than ANYONE at whole of #CBP
