It's almost PhP 40,000. Explains why only 10% of Filipinos own an iPhone.

In rich countries, it's a "phone that just works." For the rest of the world, it is a status symbol that shows how "elite" and "successful" you are.

Apple is truly an aspirational brand: Everyone wants an iPhone but few can afford it. Apple is proving the "walled garden" allegations.

@jikomayo I never get the appeal of an iPhone. I have other Apple products, but for my mobile phone, it's Android for me.

@jikomayo Most of my files nasa cloud or I directly transfer sa external HD. I don't usually transfer from phone to Macbook, or vice-versa.
