Interesting how Robert Hur resigned from the DOJ the day before giving his Congressional testimony. As a private citizen, he is not bound by the ‘rules, regulations, and obligations’ of the DOJ. All of this sure seems political.
A longer clip where Congressman Dan Goldman discusses how, in his report, Special Counsel Hur effectively impugned Biden of a crime without charging him with any crimes.
I also heard Republicans do that in the hearing today.
It’s all political.
In the hearing, Rep. Nathaniel Moran (R) of Texas alluded to guardianships— implying that Biden is so incapacitated that he needs a guardian appointed to manage his finances, etc.
It’s a political hit job and that’s bordering on defamation.

An aside #MyThought—
This is the kind of crap that makes me detest politics.
However, I keep up with the people who are supposed to be governing and will vote for the best choices.
@dalfen it’s like a disease you can’t get rid of
@dalfen The GOP is completely off the rails. I was In the GOP until the tea party started their antics, mostly because I believe in limitations for government overreach. Now they overreach in matters that are no business of government, they use politics for profit and they believe government should only benefit white men. (I have other reasons I disagree with them but I don't want to be tooting all day.)
@LilPecan Exactly! They don’t follow their party’s long-standing belief of small federal government, no government overreach, etc.
Plus, they promote politics-for-profit benefitting white men, etc.
It’s extremely disturbing, especially now adding Trump’s authoritarian tendencies/aspirations.
@dalfen I also have no recollection of racism and cruelty being part of the GOP platform when I was in the party.
@LilPecan It’s awful now
