So I thought it would be nice if we shared pictures of the bicycles in our lives, and I wanted to propose we use the hashtag #bikesofmastodon to do it.
I don't have a name for her (it's definitely a she in my mind) but you are welcome to suggest one, preferably in Spanish or French as those are my primary languages.
I've had her for a year, she was designed to be a daily commuter but she has become much more than that, we have shared many adventures through the mean streets of Buenos Aires and I now regularly do 80 to 100 km with her on my weekends just for fun.
More pictures and details in comments.

Bold shape and color! Is that an aluminum frame?
I know nothing of modern bikes. You all got disk brakes! These are a bit scary to me: I have no idea how to work on them. I hear some even have a hydraulic actuation systems. I should look into how all that works.
This was my first bike after 40 years. Disc brakes being new to me as well. Yes, they are more complicated but people seem to like them more than rim brakes. I really am fond of rim brakes. The only benefit of disc is a fatter tire, I think.
Your bike is beautiful
The cement thing is

Thank you!
This is my first bike in almost 30 years too.
Knowing myself I knew making it a "project" and learning to build it myself would endear it to me and make me want to ride it more. It arguably worked a little too well.
Also getting to know the bike repair shops of my city, learning from their advices and asking to dig in their parts bins was part of the fun.
I also like the idea of being self-sufficient with all the maintenance and repair.
That truly is YOUR bike. The bond is strong and I think will benefit you in a variety of wonderful ways.
Oh and yes, aluminum frame
@cowboyminer
And I said nothing of the... Cement steam roller?
