Oh hey I just wanted to mention that a couple of weeks ago I finally and belatedly made the switch to using Firefox and DuckDuckGo instead of Chrome and Google. It was super easy and painless. All bookmarks, passwords, and even a few extensions were seamlessly transferred. DO EEEEEEEET.

@ExplodingLemur I have the EFF’s privacy badger installed which I takes care of a bunch of the facebook and google tracking. What do the container extensions do?
@alpenglow they isolate various domains to their own sort of cookie/login/etc namespace. The main container extension lets you create arbitrary container categories and stick different sites in each (like work, personal, banking, etc) and the Facebook and Google ones have pre-built lists of domains for each of their containers.
