Is it just me, or do other #blind people find knocking things over comes in streaks? I can go nine months at a time without spilling or knocking over anything. Then over the course of a few days, I knock or spill something over once or twice a day. Then it stops and I'm normal again. I haven't changed my environment, or habits, or anything. Let's see if I can get back on track and not spill anything today.
@fastfinge I agree with that. I think the first spill puts us on edge and that doesn't help stop the streak.
I used to work with glass and my boss said "Glass knows if you are afraid of it and breaks on you. You can't be afraid of glass to work with it."
@RegGuy LOL, could be. Or maybe stress factors effecting advanced spatial awareness and attention. Like yesterday my headphone wire got wrapped around a bowl of grapes on my desk, knocking it off before I noticed the problem. And I knocked over a glass of water while reaching to pick up my phone. I wasn't anxious or anything, and I normally would have noticed both of those things.
