I think I’m going to have to put filters on just because I can’t stand seeing their fucking faces. It’s one thing to stay informed, but it’s another to have to *look* at the cunts several hundred times a day. #USPol
@Nickiquote I've had filters on for I don't know how long. If I want to stay informed I'll look at the news sites, but I need places where I don't see any of that.
@sodslawyer I’m coming round to this way of thinking.
@Nickiquote It's what keeps me online. I don't have control over events, but if I have control over what I see, then that's a win. I've seen people describe that as privilege: whatever, I see it as about capacity. My mental health can only take so much.
@Nickiquote @sodslawyer I only have one word filtered. I do see references to an "Orange Fucknut" but I don't know who that refers to.
@blueorangeblue @sodslawyer We’ll never know.
@Nickiquote I have been thinking this is actually a definite use for "AI" (aka quite basic ML), it should be possible for an app to have a simple function where it can filter images of certain people. I mean, I can do this with 200GB of photos on quite old desktop hardware so I'm sure phone hardware could attempt it, or use a cloud service if really necessary.
If I knew know to write Android apps...
@Nickiquote It improved my life.
@Nickiquote Yes, that does look much better.
