How news stories you only half remember now seem so much worse…
‘His decision to place the #Jackson statue outside Fulham's stadium was unpopular, with supporters saying it made the club a "laughing stock".
Mr #AlFayed robustly defended the statue, saying: "If some stupid fans don't understand and appreciate such a gift this guy gave to the world, they can go to hell."

As an atheist, I’m just sad there is no Hell for the monster that was Mohammed Al Fayed.
@JugglingWithEggs What about his ‘shrine’ inside Harrods to Princess Di? He had no class at all. Arabic Trump, in every way possible.
I can forgive poor taste…but it’s the conspiracy theories around Diana and Dodi’s deaths that he essentially used as a shield against his own sexual crimes I find truly sickening.
But I have no doubt that the likes of Trump, Epstein and Al Fayed all knew of each other’s behaviour, encouraged each other and thought their wealth would insulate them from the law.
#MeToo should have been when their crimes caught up with them. Sadly for their victims it wasn’t.
