Silver lining among Trump's atrocities: State crimes cannot be pardoned.

Via Kyle Griffin:

supporters, led by Ben Shapiro, are pushing to pardon Derek Chauvin, who was convicted of killing .

Big flag: Chauvin cannot be pardoned for state crimes. Chauvin will still be in prison if Trump acts. And the 22.5-year state conviction is a longer sentence than the federal case.

@GottaLaff

that’s good to hear, even if the mere thought of people asking for this makes me feel sick

@nellie_m@autisticpri.de @GottaLaff@mstdn.social It is an unfortunate truth that to many of the people who voted for Trump, Derek Chauvin is an unjustly-imprisoned hero.

It is disgusting, revolting and despicable.

@GottaLaff This is great information to know, Laffy! Thanks for posting this! I hate that man (George Floyd's murderer) with a passion...

@GottaLaff and I suspect state prison would most unpleasant.

@GottaLaff My uncle in Colorado told me that over the weekend, he was with CBS his whole career and stays current.

I wanted to extend some sincere thanks to Mr. Laffy, my go to escape from the insanity has been streaming N&A, particularly the XL seasons. It’s so absorbing that my anxious soul gets a break by watching their exciting travails and victories. My cardiologist is a mega-fan too, we always compare notes. Anyhoo, I’m super grateful for the shows and their magnificent production. 🌍 ♥️

@SherBeareth Omg, I'll tell him! Naked and Afraid is popular with so many of my friends, it always floors me.

@GottaLaff That’s funny, it’s so darn good!

@SherBeareth It IS good, but I'm surprised at how many people think so. I mean, it's on Discovery. I didn't realize how many would find it there.

@GottaLaff Discovery has a real following—very unusual shows you won’t find on Netflix. 😁

@GottaLaff

My guess is that blue state AGs are already looking for state crimes committed by the Muskrat and his young hackers.

It takes a special kind of stupid to think otherwise.
