It's hard to imagine that people don't understand what Russia is doing. It's not difficult.
Putin is responsible for hundreds of thousands of dead and millions of lives destroyed.
Putin can end the war in less than 1hr:
Tell his troops to turn around and go home. That's it.
NATO and the 'bear' is propaganda drivel.

Surely just because someone advances a view on a complex matter that runs counter to one’s own, probably fixed, opinions doesn’t necessarily invalidate the other’s perspective on an issue. Surely?

There's no complexity in dressing up Russian propaganda in pseudo-academic language.
It takes entirely the Pro-Putin "NATO is to blame" line but ignores the substantial history of Putin's imperialist ambitions.
Its chronology ignores the funding of eastern separatists in Ukraine, the downing of MH117, Putin's assassinations on European soil etc etc. Nothing is said about the invasion of Crimea.

I’m sorry, but stating, with evidence, that NATO has played a significant part in causing the Ukraine proxy-war catastrophe is *not * being pro-Putin! Whether you like it or not, it’s stating facts!
It’s obvious that you have swallowed US/ UK/ NATO on this issue lock, stock and barrel!
On this basis, I presume you also think that the Israeli genocide vs Palestine was started by Hamas on Oct 7?

@GeriatricGardener there’s nothing “enlightening” in that piece…. it’s straight up Russian propaganda of the most Orwellian kind where committing war crimes in a sovereign country you have invaded is relabelled as a defensive action…
@GeriatricGardener the extent to which people fail to see Russian imperialism and colonialism for what it is, despite its long history, simply because it’s not Western European colonialism is truly shocking….

*Russia invaded Ukraine*. Russia can leave Ukraine today and the war ends.
