In 1869 it was decided to have 9 Supreme Court justices at SCOTUS because there were 9 Circuit Courts.
Now there are 13 Circuit Courts. So what exactly are we waiting for?
@Strandjunker I often think about the backward, anachronistic Royal thugs here in the UK & their privilege & positions for life.
Then I learned the US has 9 appointed monarchs. Not elected, access to power, wealth & privilege, seemingly beyond accountability & they have the positions for life.
I've learned a lot about US politics over the years since The Orange Menace was installed. It's actually a very impressive system. It's also very broken & corrupt.
Then again the British laughably refer to the UK as 'The Mother of Democracies' despite THREE of our last four Prime Ministers not being voted for. Just installed.
