@GhostOnTheHalfShell I'm so happy that mostly in the Netherlands people don't even dare to drive close to pedestrians
Cars are on the absolute bottom on the public streets here
1. pedestrians
2. bikes
3. public trans
4. cars
The correct order
@stux @GhostOnTheHalfShell Seems to be the same in Sweden
@Ellegaarddk @GhostOnTheHalfShell That's the way!
Also cars are always responsible if an accident happens with a pedestrian or bike!
Since the car owner has more responsiblity because they chose to drive a death machine
@Ellegaarddk @stux @GhostOnTheHalfShell Sadly many cars in Sweden don’t do this, and I’ve been nearly run into on several occasions on pedestrian streets.
@ahltorp @stux @GhostOnTheHalfShell The same rules apply in Denmark, but the difference between SE and DK drivers was noticeable, when I was in Stockholm last year. So you might not see all drivers being equally respectful of crossings - but on average SE drivers are better than DK.
@Ellegaarddk You might be right, but I haven’t noticed a specific difference between Denmark and Sweden, and I’m quite often in Denmark. But also I think drivers might be a bit more respectful in Stockholm than in other parts of Sweden. I guess it’s different in different parts of Denmark as well.
