The Tesla brand is dying in the US and Europe, but its popularity is growing in China.
We need some Chinese help to get the word out and make it tank worldwide.
@DemocracyMattersALot Hold on, that's no fair. That Tesla nightmar shouldn't be sold in China, since everybody seems to be putting tarriffs on their EVs, that are of much better quality and cheaper than that pile of bolts.
@DemocracyMattersALot Chinese manufacturers are building some great and cheap electric cars. Perhaps the overpriced and shoddily built Teslas are a status symbol for the rich? Can't see any other reason for a Chinese person to buy one.
@not2b @DemocracyMattersALot probably like Apple vs android
The financially superior option is typically a 100 dollar android but people wanna seem wealthy so they spend 3k for an iPhone 16
@DemocracyMattersALot In China, Tesla is filing defamation suits against those who speak negatively of Tesla. They've made a deal with the courts to win them.
@DemocracyMattersALot Iʼve been really surprised by the figures, since the Chinese make some really good, Tesla-beating EVs.
good luck reasoning with the chinese Neo-bourgeoisie, they probably are buying teslas just to be contrarian
Good luck with that.
Chinese courts hand out fines of $20,000 to Chinese Tesla customers who complain too loudly.
" Zhang Yazhou was sitting in the passenger seat of her Tesla Model 3 when she said she heard her father’s panicked voice: The brakes don’t work! Approaching a red light, her father swerved around two cars before plowing into an SUV and a sedan and crashing into a large concrete barrier.
Stunned, Zhang gazed at the deflating airbag in front of her. She could never have imagined what was to come: Tesla sued her for defamation for complaining publicly about the car’s brakes — and won. A Chinese court ordered Zhang to pay more than $23,000 in damages and publicly apologize to the $1.1 trillion company."
