“A judge ruled Wednesday that the Georgia Republican Party’s first vice chairman, Brian Pritchard, violated state election laws when he voted nine times while serving probation for a felony check forgery sentence,” the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

@DemocracyMattersALot There’s a mother somewhere in prison for *accidentally* voting wrong, (but who finally got her reprieve) so I hope this schmuck is going to prison too, for 9x as long

If Pritchard was a nonwhite person, he would be in jail. Unfortunately he was only fined $5k, basically a slap on the wrist.
@BohemianPeasant @DemocracyMattersALot It amazes me that this happens so often here in the US... but then I realize it's not just here. It's human nature for humans to screw over other humans every opportunity they get.
