A reminder that everything being shared online about the Southport attacker is not real, and is being reshared by media outlets in Russia to peddle anti-migrant fears (and by IT people on LinkedIn).
The person also isn’t called Ali Al-Shakati, and did not arrive by boat.

Oh what a surprise, social media posts have lead to a riot in Southport.
Rioting is still continuing in parts of the UK due to social media posts about the Southport attacker.
People are turning up with “STOP THE BOATS” banners.
The attacker was a kid born in Wales.

I used to live just down the road from this in Liverpool. Locals burnt it down and stopped the fire brigade from putting out the fire.
Twitter unbanned Tommy Robinson, which is driving a lot of this. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cl4y0453nv5o
Oh good, Elon’s jumped on the “stop the boats” bandwagon now.. for a killer who was born and raised in the UK.
After burning down libraries and attacking mosques, the mob have now moved onto Holiday Inns.
Somebody is going to end getting killed if this continues.
It is blatant racism and those involved and those who enable it - including Elon after unbanning Tommy and engaging with this stuff on his own platform - should feel ashamed of themselves.
@GossiTheDog It's almost like he has been drinking the Helter Skelter Kool-Aid, and by "almost" I mean "exactly".
@tryst @GossiTheDog Completely ignoring him also works.
@james_inthe_box @tryst @GossiTheDog
My thought exactly. By responding to his baiting they’re giving him legitimacy.
I wasn’t suggesting ignoring is a fix, but I *am* suggesting that responding on official political accounts gives weight to Elmo’s comments which is at best unhelpful and at worst dangerous.
