@thomasfuchs @vkc People barely know if they have one. There is a huge number of people/households with a sewing machine they inherited & probably doesn't work, or they don't know how to use it well enough so it works, or someone already took it to the thrift store. Machines are so valueless, I am given perfectly fine machines all the time & reliably find them for <$25. To me it is like getting rid of your stove because you don't like to cook. In any case, machines are thing no one reports on.
