From a sunrise walk up Pentland Hills, this morning with a flask of tea and Lord Of The Rings music.

This is how to start the day!

A large stream and green fields with the sunrise peeking behind wintry trees. My music was very Hobbit-y at this point.
Golden sunlight casts long shadows through naked trees, silhouetted in layers back to distant hills.
A rest point up a hill, looking south over green hills and farmland in the early morning sun. My music was all Elven and Rivendell-y at this point.
Towards the end of the walk, at Glencorse Reservoir: cold, shadowy hills and insipid sunlight, with birds flying above the water. Musically, the battle for Helm's Deep was over.
