The amount of effort I've just had to use to try to pop two paracetamol tablets out of a blister pack followed by the momentary fury that all I got for my troubles was a handful of fragments of tablets caused the headache I'm trying to stave off to increase in intensity. Which I now believe was the plan by the paracetamol manufacturers all along.

On the plus side, your body should absorb the tablets quicker if they're in smaller pieces. 
@neonbubble This 100%. The fix I've found is to split the foil backing by pushing a thumbnail through next to the tablet/lozenge then pull sideways. You should then be able to push the tablet from the blister side to pop it out.
But you do need rhino horn thumbnails.
