I just left a message for Sen. Angus King to ask him to vote No on today's cloture vote and against the GOP House's Continuing Resolution to keep the government funded past midnight. (Susan Collins is a lost cause.) His DC mailbox is full, but Mainers can leave a message at the Portland office at (207) 245-1565. With any luck, he'll get the message. @BrianPierce I agree, on both counts. I just hope the Democrats put up a good challenger against Collins in 2026. I could have told anyone that Sara Gideon would lose.
