Low Quality Facts

I don't think most people understand how big of a deal it is that Tracy Chapman performed Fast Car at the Grammys. She wrote that song in 1988. Cars were MUCH slower back then. So when she got up on that stage, everyone watching thought "Uh oh, does she even know what a fast car is anymore?" But Tracy knocked it out of the park. She showed the world that 36 years later she can still sing about faster cars than we can even imagine.

@lowqualityfacts So true. My dad had this bigass Mercury sedan thing in the 80s that weighed about 70 tons and was longer than our house was wide. If he pushed it beyond 30kmh the engine would catch fire.

@lowqualityfacts Her voice was perfect too. And she looked great. A beautiful performance!

@lowqualityfacts My first car maxed at 55mph. It was a very old piece of crap that was sold to us after the meter had been flipped. Only 25k miles my ass. Luckily I had an accident and it was totaled. My mechanic, who passed the car as a favor because he was friend said "Oh, thank god". Anyway, Tracy Chapman rocks!!!

@lowqualityfacts This is the only take on the Grammys worth reading.
