@chat What happens when I simply mention a Lemmy community from Mastodon?

I hope this test isn’t considered abuse, lemmy.one, feel free to delete the post (if this creates a post at all…)

Testing in 3…2…1… 💥 ;)

so it's kinda works, cool. I'm still trying to understand the concept of "post ownership" here.

So I can create a Lemmy post without having a Lemmy account. Only the `@communityname` seems a bit ugly.

(Again, sorry for talking to myself here :)

There is no community, yet. I think I'd prefer that on Lemmy over the guppe thingies. 🤔

@chat another small observation: if I create a reply but without the at-mention, it will not appear on the Lemmy page (see this previous reply on Mastodon: mstdn.social/@kommadieb/110477)

This seems strange to me. I believe that is not a requirement for the comment/post to be federated. I am not sure why the previous post did not federate, though.

@Adda ok, let me test here again. once with the "at"…

Yep. Much better. Glad it works now. Have fun.

I dont know what you expect ro happen…
