This government is an abject failure and an embarrassment and the housing situation in Ireland is untenable. I’d say it’s at the point where the #EU should be getting involved on #HumanRights grounds.

For comparison: You might get 2 vedroom rooftop apartment in the Center of Cologne for that.
@kkarhan@mstdn.social@aral @EU_Commission But maybe it's because most cities in Germany had (until 20 years ago) public-owned and/or cooperative housing & development forms that were solely founded post-WW2 to build affordable housing for the masses.
