The bad part is the fediverse bunch who into this still can't get their head around why majority of people are not ditching Twitter & Instagram for decenteralized alternatives.

@hashraydamon they acted like they leaving... artists with big followings especially but they are still there.

I follow people and hashtags and I can see the content I want.
@DarrenNevares I'm talking about posting here... finding proper hashtags, writing alt-texts, figuring out intriguing descriptions. And reaching to 1-2 people as a result.
Mastodon is not good for artists who trying to make a living and using social media for connections and promoting their work.
As far as I can see, Mastodon in general is a political ranting platform for people to blurt their rage out. Therefore not a good alternative for artists who using Instagram & Xitter.
