With a (dubious) landslide majority, and a different leader, Labour had the chance to enact real transformative change to undo the damage of the last 15 years.
The fact that any Labour leader (and chancellor) can think Austerity - and placing the financial burden of recovery on those who can least afford it and are least responsible for the damage - is the right solution is damning.
