Good afternoon!
Happy #Monday!
Hopefully this momma hedgehog and her babies will brighten up your day!
@michaelgemar Me neither!
@dalfen
i have never seen that many in one place.
it seems, or at least i hope so, there is enough food to sustain them.
@ganbatte I hope so too.
@dalfen Until Momma turns so we can see her face, it looks like a pile of tribbles walking around!
@dalfen @billmason HA yeah that's exactly where my mind went as well
@Crystal_Fish_Caves @dalfen @billmason
Me too. Unfortunately, that's exactly the "Trouble with Tribbles".
@dalfen Incredibly cute. And: I know this look over one's shoulder all too well.
@LeslieHapablap Oh I hear you there
@dalfen Family Trip
@dalfen I love this so much.
@dalfen
My day, for one, is brighter, ˈdälfən™
Thank YOU!
@jstatepost Glad I could help
@dalfen Thank you, I needed this.
@dalfen Hmm. I thought Brillo pads were made in a factory.
@dalfen It did, and I very much needed it. Thank you!
@dalfen If I saw this in real life I think I might actually die of squee.
@LauraLangdon Me too!
*squee*
The person holding the camera did a great job keeping quiet!
@dalfen That so cute I'm FREAKING OUT !!!
@dalfen@mstdn.social uhm, how did this video happen? it kinda looks as if someone followed the hedgehogs closely, probably scaring them?
@tastytea Looks like the mom is taking her young on a foraging expedition, which is typical behavior. If she were scared, she would likely hiss, click, or make other noises and the babies wouldn’t exit the burrow at the beginning of the video, or would duck back in. She might also spike up, which she doesn’t seem to be doing.
