@artshare comment test. Does anyone see this comment?

OK how did you do that?!

My last post is my attempt, but it was less than ideal.

@makingStuffForFun but you are on lemmy right? I just mentioned the lemmy community with @. I have also just trued the same from but it didn't work out there

Ahh so you mention it IN your post in Mastodon?

@makingStuffForFun yepp. I am not sure about how the comments in the thread work though as my comment seems to have appeared on lemmy only after you answered

How amazing is the fediverse. There’s no going back. Actual, open protocols, that encourage collaboration and sharing without a corporate overlord. I’m so excited and feeling positive for the internet. It’s been a long time since I’ve said that.

OMG! It worked. Game. Changer!

Thank you so much!

@makingStuffForFun yes, it's crazy!! Enjoy haha

Can you check !dullsters@dullsters.net not sure how to link it for mastadon url is dullsters.net/c/dullsters

I think there may be a typo. Your first link is missing a ‘t’ in !Dullsters@dullsters.net. Just a heads up.

dullsters.netDullsters - Dullsters.netInspired by the Dull Men’s Club. https://dullmensclub.com/ [https://dullmensclub.com/] 1. Relevant commentary on your own dull life. Posts should be about your own dull, lived experience. This is our most important rule. Direct questions, random thoughts, comment baiting, advice seeking, many uses of “discuss” rarely comply with this rule. 2. Original, Fresh, Meaningful Content. 3. Avoid repetitive topics. 4. This isn’t an advice forum Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”. There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you. Some other communities to consider before posting: - what is this thing? [!whatisthisthing@lemmy.world] - No Stupid Questions [!nostupidquestions@lemmy.world] - Ask Lemmy [!asklemmy@lemmy.world] - Self Hosted [!selfhosted@lemmy.world] - Mildly Interesting [!mildlyinteresting@lemmy.world] 5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere. 6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity. 7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Some examples: - starting a post with “So” - starting a post with pointless phrases, like “I hope this is allowed” or “this is my first post” Only share good quality, cropped images. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image. #

Thank you,I fixed it. Maybe I’ll post about it later.
