All eyes are on #Pixelfed this week, as #Meta censored all mentions and links to it.
Last year I wrote about the superb interoperability between Pixelfed and #Mastodon - it was one of my first articles for #TheFutureIsFederated, which inspired me to try out more #Fediverse projects.

@_elena I am so confused. If content posted on Pixelfed can appear on my Mastodon timeline, and if my Mastodon messages can appear on a Pixelfed user’s timeline, and if Mastodon allows to post photos, then why do we have two separate programs (Mastodon and Pixelfed) to basically do the same thing?
