This does not look like human behavior. Again today, my Mastodon account is followed by dozens of new anonymous accounts, and they all follow exactly 40 other accounts.

@renchap I do not want to be reading tea leaves here, but can you understand my concern that this could be a bot net system generating spam profiles in bulk?

Can you think of any technical explanation why I am seeing so many similar accounts following exactly 40 other accounts?

@randahl @renchap I've read tea leaves. This is way less subjective. This is akin to throwing a handful of scrabble letters and them landing as "B.O.T.N.E.T." 😂
