As a #CUNY alumna, I’d like to know who the hell leaned on #Hochul about a low-level academic job that ordinarily wouldn’t have come to her attention.
CUNY has historically been a haven for new Americans. Most CUNY students are either foreign-born or have parents who were; and the sizable percentage of #Muslim students, faculty and staff aren’t the only ones likely to object to whitewashing #Palestinian history.
This is a clear attack on academic freedom.
