In my previous life I enjoyed working with young academic staff and students from across the EU and beyond (but the vast majority were from within the EU.
#Brexit was racist fortress imposed by those over 50 on the under 30s. That’s how I saw it then and still see it now. #Sunak and #Starmer are both the enemy of the young.
Tories want to cherrypick which countries they do deals with. Labour claim they’d never wean themselves off young skilled people to work in the green economy….
But what I think they both fear is that young bright British people would see an opportunity and run as fast as they can away from this self-imploding island. The brain drain is what they both truly fear.

Starmer is just Tory Light and the Tories have veered into Fascism.
@JugglingWithEggs I think you'll find they're everybody's enemy. I don't know anyone who agrees with their twisted politics. Mind you, I worked for the NHS for nearly 50 years.
