I dispute your assertion that no progress can be made by selecting the lesser evil. If enough people do that for long enough than we've accomplished great things in our history around the globe.

I'm thinking of how long it took to end (for the most part) human slavery for example.

Seeing this again: "I dispute your assertion that no progress can be made by selecting the lesser evil. If enough people do that for long enough than we've accomplished great things" that I wrote last week about nonvoters made me wonder if any of them know that Abraham Lincoln was the lesser evil.

He was not an abolitionist. He wanted the union to stay together and move towards emancipation peacefully over how ever long it took, but if too many hadn't voted for him

lesser evil to whom? I easily imagine a truly wonderful candidate who to many would still be seen as a lesser evil, or even a greater evil -- or a truly evil candidate that many would proclaim great, or at least less evil than the person they have been told is the opposition

Everyone should try to make the best decision they can I reckon.

@libramoon @GreenFire @BangClankBoom @InkySchwartz Trump fully supports Netanyahu. (“You have to finish what you have started and get back to normalcy". ) The Republican Congress wants Palestinians gone for religious reasons. I don't see how you think voting in Trump by inaction is the best position to take.

And that's on top of the terrible impact on American women (ending women's reproductive health) and the poor (cutting taxes to the rich and cutting services to the poor).
