Persists @GottaLaff He runs his patrimonial government like a family business. These folks feel so beholden to him, which is the point. What’s sad, is these transactional relationships— I’ll appoint you to this job, because you’re related to a loyalist or you’re a loyalist — never seems to end well for these people.

@GottaLaff I doubt it will end well for a lot of them. Even though he does have unlimited pardon power in the event any of them get into any legal hot water. I guess they all feel the risk is worth it.
