@GottaLaff I'd offer words of comfort and hope, but I have none. Checks and balances are being removed, loyalist are being installed and the weapons safety are being taken off.
Whatever fragment of democracy we had before, is gone. There's only one way this ultimately goes down, but nobody wants to talk about violence.

@GottaLaff Yep, could be true, but evil orange fucko made a statement of how he's watching the situation and that statement said enough.
@GottaLaff He is acting right on point if he "thinks" he is the Antichrist bringing about the end of the world. (I don't believe he is.) It's the only explanation that aligns with his actions at this point. Too many in his group seem eager for that end as well. I suppose their biblical knowledge is second-hand and has left out some significant bits.

If ever there was a time for Congress to rescind the President's authorization to use military force (granted post 9/11), that time is now.
But of course, they won't do that. Even if they did, Trump might ignore them.

@wesley83 @GottaLaff I know the far right laughs at those of us who care about our fellow humans. They think compassion makes us weak. The thing is, though, their hatred and cruelty is isolating. While we’re winning friends & allies by caring, the righties are more and more alone.

@GottaLaff When you've been at war with a ruthless enemy for 3 years, the threat of WWlll Is meaningless, unless it was a threat that the US would use military force _against_ Ukraine?

I'm sure we can all agree that the biggest threat, real and perceived, occupies the White House.
