Peoples of the internets: anyone know if a WWII-era “short snorter” roll that includes Charles Lindbergh’s signature is of interest to museums or collectors?

This is from my grandfather, who was a navigator for the Marines in WWII.

#WWII On April 12, 1945, CBS News correspondent Edward R. Murrow walked through the gates of the Nazis' Buchenwald concentration camp in Germany. He was unprepared for the horrors that waited inside the camp, just a day after it was liberated by U.S. forces. It took the veteran war correspondent three days to find the words to describe what he had seen and experienced. cbsnews.com/news/buchenwald-ca

A US Navy captain ordered a military funeral for a kamikaze pilot during WWII. Here's why

yahoo.com/news/us-navy-captain…

A Japanese pilot slammed his Zero fighter plane into the USS Missouri and ignited a fireball on April 11, 1945, during the Battle of Okinawa. The suicide attack instantly killed the pilot, but none of the battleship's crew members were badly hurt. The Missouri's captain ordered a military burial at sea with full honors, marking one of the more unusual and little-known episodes of World War II. The pilot received the same funeral that the ship would have given one of its own sailors.

Why Stupidity Is More Dangerous Than Evil via Lifehacker [Shared]

Dietrich Bonhoeffer knew more than you or I are likely to ever know about about the line between stupidity and outright evil. The Lutheran pastor and theologian had a front row seat as he watched the Nazis—history’s evilest stupid people (or stupidest evil people)—ascend to power and come to rule through terror during the 1930s and ‘40s.

In a letter to his friends, family, and followers written while he awaited execution at Flossenbürg concentration camp for his role in the July 20, 1944 assassination attempt on Adolph Hitler, Bonhoeffer detailed his thoughts on the root cause of the moral and intellectual infection that resulted in the Third Reich. His conclusion: It’s the stupidity, stupid.
