@chuckwendig Just finished reading . INCREDIBLE. The thing I found most moving was the Afterward. (And including a quote by Matthew Mercer of was simply icing on an incredibly beautiful cake which I wanted to keep eating forever but, alas, eventually every last crumb is hoovered up and I now wish I was back at the beginning again with this entire beautiful cake still before me.) Motherfucking rockgod Pete Corley…may he remain an agent of chaos forever.

Re-reading #Wanderers by @chuckwendig to reacquainted myself with the world before reading #Wayward (which I somehow missed its release last November).

I read Wanderers in 2019 and was baffled by the rightwing characters going ape shit during a strange epidemic. And I kept thinking, no one in their right minds would ever act like this, right?

Less than a year later, I learned just how crazy the rightwing lunatics could get.

If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend this tome.

OMG YES

Just started reading this & already I can see why #JodiTaylor wrote a glowing review. It's like #SarahWaters meets #MarieBrennan. Very atmospheric & intriguing. #Witherward was published two years ago and its sequel, #Wayward (which I have also borrowed) last year. Witherward is the debut novel by #HannahMathewson & I feel she is one to watch.
