Fucina FibonacciLo so che questo <a href="https://mastodon.uno/tags/film" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#film</a> non è l'apice della carriera di <a href="https://mastodon.uno/tags/WalterMatthau" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#WalterMatthau</a>. Ma, leggendo la sua filmografia nel venticinquennale della morte, mi si è sbloccato un ricordo: lo vidi gratis in 2a/3a/4a visione (boh!) in una sala di Loano (provincia di Savona) con mio padre a quelle matinée organizzate per vendere enciclopedie. Chissà se funzionava così anche nel resto d'Italia. Della pellicola ricordo poco, se non che mi lasciò un senso di fallimento di cui all'epoca non conoscevo neppure il significato

Boris KretzingerAbout a film I love: I thought I'd never see the day: I was searching for any copy of Billy Wilder's "Buddy Buddy" with Lemon and Matthau, originally hoping to find a VHS. Oh, with German dub, mind you. But nothing. The film flopped back in the day, and thus got only a very, very, veeery limited DVD release in German. Just for the new year 2025, I found a sealed copy no less! The quality suggests that the master used here was a VHS, but I do not care at all. Yes, the movie can be found even on the Internet Archive and yes, if you search even harder, you'll find it with German dub online as well. But that quality is even worse, just short of unwatchable - and believe me, I don't say that often. So I'm very happy to have this in a decent quality. Well, who knows that movie anyways? And who enjoys it as much as me? Very small target audience 😅. Anyways.
