Well, it was 22C/73F for today's 15.5km/9.6mi walk that featured a bit of rain. It averaged 9'10" per km and didn't exactly exercise the old heart at a lightly light 98 BPM (65%).
Is there a site where people just put in how far they walked and how long it took?

Long, hard and complicated day at work, with a satisfying result in the end. Went for an evening walk straight after to clear my head. Weather looked threatening, but needed to go anyway. Stayed dry in the end, but actually could have used some refreshing rain. Now a long weekend ahead. Enjoy yours!

A bit of a warming trend here with the temp at 23C/74F for today's 15.2km/9.4mi walk. A slowing trend at 9'10" per km, but a speedier heart rate at a moderately light 104 BPM (69%).
Chance (the iWatch) lost all credibility today when it used the first person plural (we) when it should have used the second person singular (you). Arrrrrrghhhhhh

Finally had success in buying new walking shoes/boots, after current pair started to fall apart after only 2 years (despite costing >£120).

Basecamp Stockport: Not open at weekends, too far for a trip at lunch

Go Outdoors: Helpful but don't sell men's shoes in size 6 (and women's are too narrow)

Trespass: Uncomfortable pair of shoes but the boots were super-comfy and 60% off (though I've never seen Trespass sell at full price)

Now to break them in...
