Julie Webgirl<p>NOTE: If anyone is decent at <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/alttxt" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>alttxt</span></a> especially these kinds of images and graphics of the <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/tsunami" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>tsunami</span></a> maps etc., feel free to comment them and I will edit and add them. It takes me too long to write e them because I&#39;ve got some sort of weird perfectionist creative &quot;disorder&quot; 🤣 and it takes me easy to long but I do want <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/VisuallyImpaired" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>VisuallyImpaired</span></a> to get this info too!</p>

Georgiana Brummell<p>I have been on Reddit for awhile now, and I am a member of the Blind subreddit, among several others. There is nothing wrong with it, but it is a support community and often has negative/depressing posts that I cannot relate to, always having been blind. So I created my own subreddit with a far more positive angle, where we could discuss a wider range of things, not just related to blindness, and where we can promote and sell products, and even write dating posts! You cannot do any of that in the regular one, and I have seen decent posts asking genuine questions or offering completely legal and helpful services removed for this reason. Below is the description and the link. Please feel free to share this and join us if you wish.</p><p>This is a subreddit for those who are blind or visually impaired , but it does not focus exclusively on blindness and it is not a therapy, medical, or support group. It is a place for us to relax and get to know each other. Please only join if you are eighteen or older.</p><p><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/BlindAndFine/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">reddit.com/r/BlindAndFine/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a><br><a href="https://someplace.social/tags/accessibility" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>accessibility</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/advertising" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>advertising</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/advertizing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>advertizing</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/adults" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>adults</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/AudioGames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AudioGames</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/blind" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>blind</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/blindness" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>blindness</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/community" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>community</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/dating" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>dating</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/discussion" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>discussion</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/friends" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>friends</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/friendship" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>friendship</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/fun" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fun</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/hobbies" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>hobbies</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/Narrator" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Narrator</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/NVDA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NVDA</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/Reddit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Reddit</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/subreddit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>subreddit</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/Talkbback" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Talkbback</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/technology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>technology</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/VisuallyImpaired" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VisuallyImpaired</span></a> <a href="https://someplace.social/tags/VoiceOver" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VoiceOver</span></a></p>

I tried it at a store and it felt too much like a toy for its price and I didn’t like the viewfinder.</p><p>Instead, I got an Instax Mini for less money but with more self-confidence about its toy-ness. I’ve really been enjoying it.</p><p>Meanwhile, I decided to get a wider lens for the Pentax and shoot a couple of expired rolls of film. Estimating distances to use the scale and the lens and stopping does actually got me really good results. I found a local place that does pretty affordable development and scans - I’ve done those myself, but I don’t want to deal with chemistry these days.</p><p>So now I have two cameras to sink film money into.
