I've gratefully inherited #plussize #clothes from relatives from the 1950s and 1960s.
So yeah, I've always known within my own family that plus sized #vintageclothes have always been a thing. Infuriates me when people tell me it "didn't exist back then", then please do explain my grandmother's plus sized blouses I've got hanging rn in my wardrobe that she herself wore in her 30s! 
Love to hear the explanation for that.

The Yellow Dress by Gustave Jacquet (French artist, lived 1846-1909). Many of the garments and accessories painted would have been based on originals, so a nice slice of fashion history here.
