It's #bloom season! #Trees, #flowers, and veggies are making blossoms, ranging from exuberantly colorful to barely visible "green on green."

If you happen to have a #UV light, let's say a 365nm Wood's lamp your vet recommended because you can not resist collecting feral cats, go out at night and look at plant blossoms under the UV light.

While many plants will close their blossoms tightly over night, plenty don't.

In my continued war on Tobacco Hornworms I’ve found success using UV light to detect much smaller under 1 inch worms just starting to feast but more importantly single eggs mostly spotted on the underside of leaves. Last night along with over a dozen eggs and 4 inch long worms I spotted much smaller babies, including this barely millimeter long guy just emerging. #TobaccoHornWorm #Pests #Worms #UVLight #Tomato #Gardening #Garden #GrowYourOwn #DIY #Hunting #Insects
