#2 #Masters memory:

2015--I was blessed to attend on Thursday. As I was munching on a $3 egg salad sandwich near Amen corner, I saw Bayliss, Andy, and Kris from #Umphreys who were playing The Major Rager later that night. I went up to them and hung out for a little bit. Bonus: I saw Condoleeza Rice in a green jacket in 16 stands later that day.

From the highway in 8” deep snow, my wife used our newly acquired Treo smartphone to book one of the last rooms at a hotel in Walsenburg. I watched #themasters and ate entire pack of Oreos to celebrate.

Answering someone’s question from before. #Umphreys gets musically more complex than Phish (or goes where Phish can’t) in the jams because they have a second lead guitar player and a real percussion player (looking at Jeff here), along with keys, great bass, and drums. So two extra layers of goodness.
