This is Paul Youd, an 87 year old vegan ultra-runner that I had the honour of documenting his latest ultra-marathon adventure, 50km around the city of Bath!

You read that right, 87 years old, VEGAN and smashing ultras!

He was supported by @runningonplants and their team and everyone made it to the finish line, inspired by Paul and his story! Make sure to check out their wonderful organisation.

A film will be in the works of this adventure to watch at www.youtube.com/@kelpandfern in the coming weeks and you'll learn more about Paul and why he went vegan and how he got in to running later on in life.

Sanna Duthie @sannad22run will be attempting to break her own record of 2d 3h and 30mins on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path at the end of April.

Covering 186 miles (300km) and running along the South West coat of Wales on the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and we will have the honour of documenting her journey to release a full-length doc later in the year.

We met up for a trail run on the coast path to get a few pics, learn more about her attempt and we're excited to be a small part of her adventure later next month!

She is raising awareness and funds for the @pembrokeshirecoasttrust who are a conservation charity based here in the National Park.

23km with 660m EG in today's run makes 1000m for this week. (This) Mission accomplished😊.

If I extrapolate today's activity to the 55km of Snowdonia I would have "only" made ~1600m EG. Snowdonia is actually 3500m which makes me conclude that the climbs are pretty steep.

What a beautifull Saturday during the Vuurtoren Trail. Cold but sunny which made great views.

Run went well except for the last 5km when I had an encountered the man with the hammer 😆.
I blame it completely to myself because I have been sloppy with my nutrition (read: no nutrition whatshoever 😬 ).
Good wake-up call for the next race!

A final Dress Rehearsal for the Vuurtoren Trail next weekend.
The condition are more or less the same: loose sand, beach and single tracks through the dunes. I went really well.
Next week a bit of tapering and recovery until the big day on Saturday.

Cycling as cross-training today.
Easy outdoor ride done inside with #incyclist .
Created a random route with Strava and did it inside on my bike trainer.
Incyclist shows Streetview images from the route. Nice to see the familiar roads while you go.
