Timothy ShortellOne of the things I like about the tufted titmice is that given the choice between sunflower seeds and peanuts, despite their small size, they always choose peanuts. The chickadees sometimes take a peanut, but more often take several sunflower seeds. The goldfinches and sparrows only eat the sunflower seeds. For the titmice, a peanut is a pretty big beakful. <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/BirdsOfMastodon?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#BirdsOfMastodon</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/BirdWatching?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#BirdWatching</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/BirdPhotography?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#BirdPhotography</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/SunflowerSeeds?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#SunflowerSeeds</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Peanuts?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Peanuts</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/TuftedTitmouse?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#TuftedTitmouse</a>
