Haven't even gotten to the romance yet and the story alone has completely pulled me in and the characters are so endearing 🥰. I think I'm slowly starting to expand on the genres I enjoy. DapperDinobot<p>So I finished reading <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/TravisBaldree" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TravisBaldree</span></a>'s cozy fantasy novel <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/BookshopsAndBonedust" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BookshopsAndBonedust</span></a>. </p><p>It is quite cute. I dare say it's even better than the first one? </p><p>Though, of course, the worldbuilding is completely secondary to the needs of the plot. Like, the setting has room enough for marauding monsters and the mercenaries that hunt them to be A Thing, yet it's also stable enough to support tiny hole in the wall bookstores.</p><p>If I were feeling snarky I'd call it "Potatoes and Printing Presses."</p>

Ali K<p>Just finished <a href="https://nerdculture.de/tags/BookshopsAndBonedust" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BookshopsAndBonedust</span></a> and loved it! A prequel to <a href="https://nerdculture.de/tags/LegendsAndLattes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LegendsAndLattes</span></a>, <a href="https://nerdculture.de/tags/TravisBaldree" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TravisBaldree</span></a> gives us another heart-warming cozy fantasy. Following Viv this time at the beginning of her career, it has a bit more action, but it’s not too much to feel out of place with the series (giving Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking vibes). I loved the new cast of quirky characters and the delicate nods to the first book peppered throughout. And the epilogue made me cry.
