Great and memorable #run today. First, at the edge of the forest, I found my very first lemonade stand, manned by three local four year olds. I thought it was more of an American thing. Of course I bought a glass - I was 2km into a #trailrun on the hottest day of the week, and any extra water or calories were good - and it was delicious. :)

At castle #Pajštún, I met two gentlemen from Egypt, and surprised them by talking in #Arabic. Their faces immediately lit up. :)

Sortie longue aujourd'hui, objectif 1h50 et sans rien s'épargner les montées, descentes abruptes, les escaliers, les longs plats interminables. Un sentier étroit de trail forestier monte entre des arbres aux troncs épais, sous une lumière matinale éclatante. Le sol est tapissé de feuilles mortes et de racines, tandis que des jeunes pousses vertes illuminent les bords du chemin. L’image évoque l’effort, la nature et la progression. #trailrun du jour, de la boue, de l'effort, une paire de chaussures à nettoyer !
Sentiers glissants, flaques traîtresses, mais une bonne dose de fun !
Ça glisse, ça éclabousse, mais ça forge les jambes et l’esprit.
Objectif atteint, récompense : un bon café bien chaud ! ️ Et à la douche

A decent half-marathon #trailrun with 500m ascent in 2200m above sea - up in #Teide National Park, #Tenerife. Beautiful "mars surface" land, big temperature difference in shadows, merciless sun.

I've been here for the third time, and I'm still oohing and aahing internally at the sights. :)

Easy afternoon #trailrun in low hills above #LosCristianos, #Tenerife. Technical terrain, lots of dust. My shoes started dark blue, ended being dust gray. :)

Afterwards, we had a little splash in the ocean.
