* New photography exhibition at Massey University (Wellington) - celebrating 50 years of photography education there (massey.ac.nz/about/news/photog).

* Driving the coast road between Paekākāriki and Pukerua Bay on a sunny winter's day - blue sea, blue sky, blue silhouette of the South Island.

* Realising I'd given Patreon the wrong deets, trying to get them to reverse their opaque decision to disable my account - and feeling 🤷 not 😰.

We went to Midnight Espresso before an event we were attending this evening, and I was super tempted to stay there instead as their music selections were brilliant! 80s indie stuff - I didn't know all the songs or voices, but I recognised the band names for the ones I had to shazam. The ones I made note of were Siouxsie & the Banshees (Hong Kong Garden), Strawberry Switchblade (10 James Orr Street), The Jesus & Mary Chain (April Skies), Gang of Four (Damaged Goods), Type O Negative (Be My Druidess), Ciccone Youth (Into The Groovey), Tubeway Army and Gary Numan (Damaged Goods). Not a dud amongst them - best soundtrack to a cuppa in some time 😊
