As a brown skin person I used to laugh at the idea of white people going to tanning salons. Paying money to have the golden glow I was born with.

But today is 13c (55F) and so many white people are out for the first time in shorts and tank tops. All that bright winter washed skin is seeing sun for the first time and frankly it’s hard on the eyes LOL. Like staring at a fluorescent light bulb LOL

Sunscreen on the brown parts, UV on the white parts, and courtesy of the tanning salon my color is now about even across my whole body. I'll deepen my tan further, but I'm starting to be satisfied with my color. I'm now "tan"! Next steps: go blonde and be fun.

Painting is Emma Hamilton as Ariadne, changed to be tan and blonde (guess again if you think the old-time models wouldn't cut it in Hollywood today...).
